GOOGLE PROVIDES SOLUTION TO PEOPLE WITH IMPAIRED HEARING

Technology has become a dominant force in the world today with introductions from  flagship phone to gadgets that assist your everyday activities. with these stunning milestones the journey to  a new era has come a long way, with that also time this in turn  has seen youth fade.

W.H.O. (world health organization ) has projected that 900 million people will suffer from hearing strain. this consequently leaves them out of the progressive train of technological advancement.
Google seems to take concern in the issue, tackling it as they know how. Recently Google launched two new apps to aid people with this hearing disabilities; with one app that aids people with hearing disabilities and the other amplifying certain sounds and minimizing the other.
The first app is called live transcribe, this app uses a phones microphone to turn real time speech into captions , Google couldn't pull this off n their own as reports show that they teamed up with Gallaudet University   a university aimed specifically at the deaf and dumb. Representatives from Gallaudet University were able to assist Google by giving feedback on what was needed for the app to become a success .

The app is available in 70 languages and includes a type back feature which enables people that are not able to talk or don't feel like it to use the app.

The second app is called sound amplifier, this app works by augmenting   and filtering sounds by reducing background noise with the help of a slider

WHAT ARE THE PROS

With the introduction of these applications equality can be established in its usage, this applies especially to old people giving them ease of access on  their devices . Amongst many advantages people with this strain can attend meetings and wouldn't miss opportunities because of this cause this establishes equality ,as numbers suggest there would be a divide. Also there would better communication between friends and family.

AND ITS CONS

With every advantage there is a dis advantage, while this might not be much , it does raise an area of concern . Its dominance in the market takes time to actualize and given that it would be for a cost that would be a bummer as the app cost thousands of dollars upon creation 'which isn't covered by MEDICARE ' as reports states that body accepts that hearing disability is part of aging

YOUTUBE HDR COMES TO IPHONE X

YouTube has rolled out high dynamic range (HDR) to users of the iPhone X, enabling improved contrast and color on HDR-enabled YouTube videos. As spotted by Macrumors, videos like those from the popular HDR Channel, are now able to be viewed in HDR mode. Neither the iPhone X nor the Apple TV are able to output the videos in 4K, however. Not to be confused with HDR for photography, high dynamic range for video and TVs expands the range of both contrast and color significantly. Bright parts of the image can get much brighter, so the image seems to have more "depth." Colors get expanded to show more bright blues, greens, reds and everything in between. OLED-powered screens like the one on the iPhone X are particularly adept at showing HDR. The HDR capability isn't stated in the release notes for the latest 13.17 update which only lists "General fixes and stability improvements". YouTube is the latest company to enable HDR for the iPhone X after N

FIFA CRUSHES PES AND RETAINS TITLE AS KING OF FOOTBALL GAME

"In North America, if you say  FIFA , the majority of people will think of us rather than the actual governing body." The unabashed view of Matthew Prior, FIFA's creative director, explains why EA Sports' FIFA is king. But how did the game consumed by so many become the definitive, market leader, when a decade ago it had a major rival for gamers' eyes, ears and dollars in the shape of Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer? The studio has inevitably benefited from its unique licensing contracts with brands, players and the governing body. Its grip on the living, breathing world of football via its online platform has entrenched the status quo. Yet PES has sustained a reputation as something bordering on a cult hit, with gameplay that continues to score strongly with audiences. It cannot, though, translate its cultural currency into sales. Metro 's September 2017 review of last year's PES instalment observed: "There's always the feeling that
